Remember last year when this team finished the second half 2-4?

Already starting off the 2nd half well to a loss at the 1 yard line by the Seahawks. Karma for the SB.

What a waste. Not a SB team with that garbage defensive line.
I've seen a lot of your posts, and we need a little more objectivity here from you moving forward if you'd like to continue here. Given this is a community where no one likes a guy at a party who is complaining the whole time, I'd like to find out if you're curious to see if the defense we saw tonight will be the same one playing at the end of December or if you're already ready to write off the season. If you are, that's O.K.. But the rest of us would like to see how the rest of the season plays out.

I'm usually someone who tries to not call someone out publicly, but I really need you to reel it in a bit in order to stick around. You might find the longer you're here, the better you might feel since the majority of us have been through worse and can offer you a little perspective to help you maybe even enjoy the remaining games

I can understand how he feels. This is one of the worst games I've seen them play. Why you may ask?

Health. They are healthy on D and stunk up the joint. They were coming off a bye. Seattle isn't very good offensively and they ran up and down the field. Zero ability to shed blockers or near zero awareness on the backend of a) who they were covering and b) down and distance. As I said in another thread that TD Ryan gave up to Baldwin....he basically high fives the dude as he ran by, then decides oh maybe I should run after him.

There is also a near zero level of emotion on D. Nothing. Big hit...nothing. Drop for a loss...nothing. Now the individual player may, but not the group. That's a fatal sign signifying they are not fully engaged. The Seattle D played with swagger. The '14 Pats did too. These guys...don't know what swagger is. I full well expect in 5 years we will have another clip of BB standing next to Tom on the sidelines tonight saying "I just can't get these guys to play the way I need them to". Just like in '09 against the Saints in NO. Oh and I think it was telling how BB reacted tonight. Basically was moderate in his criticism of the D. He knows it's on the edge of collapsing fully and he's trying to salvage what he can.

The season isn't over, but of I'm an opposing O? I'm salivating over playing NE. Bryce Petty will drop 400 on this D. Here or there.

That was the best team they'll face in the regular season and in the end they would have won if they flipped heads a couple times. They have match ups against awful teams like the Rams, Niners, and Jets left on their schedule. They may finish 12-4 but it's unlikely they finish worse than that.

they finished the second half of the season 4-4 and were ravaged with injuries. i think they go 6-2 this year. just had a bad game. it happens
