Or, is it: Effectiveness.

Either is measurable to some extent.


The bottom line is, you'd better have your D firing on all cylinders if you want to win in Houston.

Typically, the Patriots have done a very good job of this over the years.

They're certainly better today, than they were in the playoffs when they collapsed after Talib went down.

I like Julian but I don't want him in there on D in crucial situations...he has enough on his plate already.

My answer is: We will see, over the next two months.

Communication, alertness, intensity, focus and togetherness are the keys to a winning defense.
