This is why points against to rate defense is kind of BS. That was very poor defense on that drive and the Bengals still get no points out of it because they are the Bengals. Real good offenses like Pittsburg won't let them off the hook like that.
Rule changes have nullified some of what made those LB and secondary groups so good, and just general slanting towards offense too. I think what they do now is not as dissimilar as many believe.
I can't believe that a lot of people here WERE fans of the 01/03/04 teams because they weren't blowing everyone out back then. They were a great team, sure, but a lot of those games were very close, and they just had a way of outlasting teams. Now if they give up 10 pts everyone thinks they suck.
