Perhaps if you had your wish, you'd realize that the limited success they experienced was due to abusing the impending year without a salary cap. Even with the negotiated gift of 11 million in cap space that they got in the new CBA and the abusive cap dumping they performed in the uncapped year, they were still in cap hell for the following 3 years. Without that abuse, they wouldn't have sniffed 8-8, nevermind making it to the AFC championship.

You still have Brandon Marshall, who is huge (6'4"). Other than Jalin Marshall, all the WRs are over 6 ft. Two are 6'2" (Enunwa, Peake) and one is 6'3" (Robby Anderson).
