those cuts are wicked pissah!

Somebody posted it on another thread figured it was worthy of its own thread lets go!!

This just made my morning. Lightning bolt in cleats, hells yes.

The most impressive thing about Lewis in my opinion, is his ability to get extra yardage. Guy surprising doesn't go down easily for a little guy. Not like White and Vereen.

They cannot play him the same percentage of snaps as they did in 2015. He's way too compact and hasn't proven yet that he can handle that kind of workload. I wonder how long it will take him to get up to speed and get confident in his cuts as well. Either way, he's a huge weapon to get back and was a massive, massive loss to the team last year. The sooner he's back in the fold, the better.

Let me ask you guys an honest question: If Lewis can't deliver what he offered last season, is he going to make much of a difference on our offense?

Guessing that Foster's days are numbered.

Over James White? Sure. Defenses don't care if he runs. They play nickel and key on the pass. Defenses can't key on what the Pats are doing when Lewis is in the game. So, even if he's operating at 70% of what he gave us last season, he would still make a difference.

James White is like a poor mans Lewis. So if Lewis looses a step and becomes a poor mans Lewis of last year we'd essentially have a second James White this year. So no it wouldn't make much of a difference offensively.

He will be a free agent in 2018 so worst case even if hes not 100 percent this year he will be next year when we repeat

Love to see him back really a difference maker with quickness and ability to make people miss. I do hope they bring him along slow IMO no need tt rush this guy back since all that juking and cutting that knee is critical to be strong again for him to be himself.

Honestly, the old Lewis (if he ever got back to that) would be useful even if he only played five snaps a game, so long as those five snaps are all 3rd and 5 or 6 yards. That's where he's deadly, when he could do just about anything.

That's all I'm really looking for...is for him to be a difference-maker and make plays.

Hope he can deliver and stay healthy to the end

Lewis losing a step is still a better ball carrier than James White. White's got good hands and is shifty in the open field, but can't break tackles or move a pile (both things Lewis has proven he can do, despite his size).

Thankfully we can get him back for denver and maybe even seattle.
