I agree. Brady has taken a lot of hits over the years and the fans + media find out about the injuries years later. He is one tough SOB, I was just wondering if Jimmy G. has the same toughness.

It's unfair to wonder that. None of us has any idea what his specific injury situation is. I want a healthy JG to back up TB. If the doctors determined he wasn't ready, I'm glad he didn't play. A healthy JG is a great insurance policy if TB gets injured. Questioning JG's toughness is horseshit Felger/Bertrand cheapness.

it looked like to me JG was supposed to start and then couldn't go at the last minute. JB looked like he didn't practice much at all this week. Maybe JG had a set back yesterday?

If the injury didn't prevent him from having sufficient arm velocity like JG's did then yes, otherwise no.

I don't know, knowing Brady he has probably put in several hundred hours practicing throwing left handed in the event of a right shoulder injury.

I don't listen to Felger/Bertrand so my cheapness does not come from them. However, you bring up a good point about the doctors having the final say if a player is ready or not. Is that what happened ?

Need to find a way and win the next 3 before facing the bills. This damn secondary has to play better. Got a trip to pittsburgh.

Don't take this the wrong way but if the defense only allows 16 points a game I'm going to be ecstatic.

Sure they didn't play well today. I get it. But 16 is not going to beat a Brady led team.


On a side note: Brady must be frothing at the mouth with thought of having Bennett and Gronk. Bennett is the real deal.

People in NE are just beyond spoiled with the success over the last 15+ years. The live game thread of last weeks game against the Texans was the most insane thing ever. Shutting the opponents out and people were still not satisfied and criticising everything.

Everyone just takes our team playing great for granted and nothing except scores on all drives and constant 3rd & downs are acceptable it seems. Crazy..

Those handful of stinkers that happen where the opponent shows that they are also paid professional athletes just should put everything into perspective and show how much effort and sweat go into our usual 13+ win seasons.
