That's exactly what I was thinking when I read this...Houston has worse traffic than Mass. Lame excuse.

I dunno. I've commuted in places like DC, NYC, Phoenix, Tampa, etc. I plan ahead. Maybe that's just the big difference between the Pats and the rest of the NFL; we have a sense of professionalism.
