This is more than a 3-week clean up. Sounds like he will miss most of the season. I love Dion, but BB has to find another more reliable solution.
Schef must have gotten word before Curran's update so he's just following Jim McBride's initial report. He'll start on PUP and doesn't need the ACL surgery, so it could be a Week 7 return possibly, if healthy.
Great question. I have no earthly idea.
I like Gaffney but I don't think he is a world-beater.
Assuming Lewis goes to the PUP, if it were me....
Blount
Gaffney
White
Boldin
Develin
I really wish Donald Brown was out there. Hes a decent backup. OK runner and good receiver out of the backfield.
I would make a trade with KC
I would love to go after charles but would be happy with kniles davis
Trying to be optimistic, but this sounds like more than a 3-week meniscus clean up. Sounds like he will miss most of the season. I love Dion, but BB has to find another more reliable solution.
I think hes been hurt? What happened to Brown? Did I miss something?
Hurts the running game but there isn't a big dropoff in the passing game from Lewis to White. Lewis was on a pace of 900 yards receiving last year before he got hurt. White was on a pace of 800 yards after he he took over Lewis receiving back role

It makes me mad that there were so many running backs available. All we had to do was just sign one for cheap, or draft one in the later rounds.
We couldn't even get one God damn RB.
Dion was getting pulled out of games in the 4th quarter.
