Anyone here a Matt Shaub Expert?

I was just watching the NFL Network and listening to Adam Shefter talk about the impact of Vick's indicment on the Falcons and how they will miss Matt Shaub.

So on with my question, have any of you guys seen Shaub play a little? I've seen maybe 1 or 2 games that he played in both nothing serious. I know he was successful in Atlanta, but I don't know what to think about him. I guess my opinion is swaying a little towards that he will struggle while getting his feet wet a year or two in Houston, but on the flip side I could also so him being very effective.

Will Shaub be big or will he bust? Will it be because he's just not a good quarterback or will it be the same reason David Carr was shipped out of town? Let me know what you think.

I think he struggles this year as do the Texans, that's my initial thought to start the thread.

1) He is not an AFC East QB
2) He is not wearing Blue Red and Silver

You don't knwo a damn thing about anything in the NFL except the Patriots which makes you a mediocre fan at best. If you don't care, keep your close minded persona out of the VLR. You present no value to this thread, at all.

he had 1 good game really..that was against us and our crap secondary 2 seasons ago. he lost the game but he played well. other than that..i think he was overhyped. nothing better than average.

a) our D was a mess
b) the team had practiced all week expecting to play Vick

When Schaube played us in '05, all of the receivers that underacheived with Vick played like gods. Especially Crumpler. I know you can make this statement for all QBs, but if you give him enough time in the pocket, he can hurt you. Will Houston give him that time? It remains to be seen.

Yeah that's the key, I highly doubt they keep him upright.
