For anyone sick of all of the ugliness in the world I seriously recommend you go see this documentary when you get the chance. I haven't seen "Gleason" yet but I know some of the story from an earlier documentary about Steve Gleason's quest to continue living his life fully after his diagnosis with ALS and his quest to reach the top of Machu Pichu! despite being confined to a wheelchair. It's an incredible and inspirational story and it includes the efforts of those around him, such as Scott Fujito (who was also maligned by Roger Goodell) and Gleason's wife Michel, who is another amazing person. I highly recommend this film to anyone who is interested in an amazing inspirational story. You can also check out their foundation, No White Flags if you so desire. I think most will come away from it believing there is really nothing they can't do of they really put their heart and mind to it.

He has such an amazing spirit. Really faced a horrible disease with such grace, dignity and spirit.
