I love TED talks they always have such a powerful message that makes you think. I did not realize just how smart this guy is. You read the stuff about what a locker room cancer he is and how he doesn't fit. After listening to that I think he will fit with the Patriot locker room like a glove. Yeah he is a little wacky and out there but so is Gronk and Edleman. At the end of the day he loves football and playing but knows who he really is and that life is more then just football. Based on his comments I would imagine the "things he has never been asked to do" don't involve skills he has never seen before but reads and options he has never been asked to do. Like wow this guy has some skills but wait....he is REALLY smart too. I would bet a lot of money every offense he has been in before is ok run down the seam. This one is if the LB is 3 yards from the LOS run down the seam but if he is 5 run a post Or if he is inside run an out. Oh but if the safety is over the top make that an in. The thing is, its doubtful. It's a shame too. I think he'll fit like a glove. He won't get paid here tho and IMO if some players used to give teams home town discounts, which they did, I think that kind of goodwill went out the window with deflategate, etc and how hard the nfl is pushing for absolute power for the commish. So, not all, but the players will now go out and get that biggest payday they can knowing how they can be victimized in a heartbeat. Sorry, not trying to get off track.
Back to NFSD...as big as Gronk is, MB is an inch taller and weighs almost the same yet is as athletic as Gronk, though not nearly as strong. I guess he didn't do enough wrestling with his brother as Gronk did with his. And if he did, Mike probably beat his ass most of the time.

I certainly hope so. IIRC he was third in TE red zone TD receptions, Gronk was first by a mile but Gronk was also targeted most. What I noticed was that MB had a higher percentage on his targets. So arguably he might be a more effective red zone weapon than Gronk. Think about that for a moment, pazrul72. It'll ensure your hospital visit continues...

We shall see but there are a lot of players on D the Pats need to keep and will have to pay more than they're used to in the past with players like Bruschi, Vrabel, TB12, Faulk taking a hometown discount. Those days are pretty much past.
