From what I understand this appeal should have been decided back in February or March and is way overdue. It's also Brady's best shot at getting his appeal to be heard again by the courts if they rule in Peterson's favor.

I think it's still sitting w/ the judges in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

So we wait...

That reminds me; what happened to Goodell's contempt hearing?

That reminds me; what happened to Goodell's contempt hearing?

goodell went insane, let me see if i can find a postscript..

"you want the truth? you want THE TRUTH?! YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH! You sit at home on for comfortable little couch eating your cheap hot wings, eating your store brand potato chips, all the while im out here putting my ass on the line for the integrity of the league, its people like me, and mike kensil, and the other former jet employees i gave jobs to to keep this league safe from dynasties like the patriots. You want the truth, don't make me laugh, if it wasn't for me the patriots probably would have won at least 1 one more Superbowl already, maybe 2, but because of the sacrifices I'VE made, to give you a game with integrity you get to see teams like the broncos buy there way to a title via salary cap loop holes and generous donations from pizza and beer companies. You get to sleep easy at night knowing that the patriots have a slightly lower chance of winning it all, and sure I may have bent some rules, and completely ignored some other ones, but i did it because YOU need me to do it. And there is not a god damned thing you can do because article 46 says I can do whatever I want, whenever i want, and the only person who can judge me is me"

That reminds me; what happened to Goodell's contempt hearing?

The NFLPA withdrew it's contempt of court motion after they and the league came to a settlement agreement.

However, during the hearing, Judge Doty did say:
Judge Doty said:
I'm not sure Roger Goodell understands there is a CBA
