We've debated this before. Amendola is a quality player but the salary and cap # is a concern.

It is absolutely no concern for this year and right now that's all that matters. Making this team worse for this season to save money for next season, when they will be 70 million under the cap makes zero sense. If he won't redo his deal after this season then release him and save money, saving money just for the sake of it when there is no need to do so is foolish.

Would not be surprised to see a jump to 5th. BB seems to like getting someone in every possible round.

They have nothing to get there with unless they trade a player. Usually, it would be a round higher in the following draft but the Patriots had that pick stolen from them.
