Really wanted Prosise, but he did have fumbling issues in college.

As for going QB....I get we need another backup, but I never thought we'd go for one high in the draft. I don't even know what to say. I saw a little of Brissett in college and he was literally Rohan Davey junior....so not good. We have our high WTF pick finally, I guess....

Maybe at 96 we will finally address RB.

From what i have seen from Jimmy G I have no reason to think he is going to bust. Looks fairly promising.

If Jimmy does well i think he can be traded and this new kid can be the backup depending on how long you think Brady will play.

Also last time we took a QB high we won a superbowl... so there is that

Still have no running game at all. Not sure Lewis is big enough to hold up all year.

No fast WR to take the top off.

No good pass rushers.

Good secondary player was drafted and the OL was pretty good.

Needed a big draft and whiffed on two of the four picks.

It's not WTF. Jimmy is going into a contract year, he's not gonna resign with us to sit behind Tom for another 3-4 years. This guy is actually the most likely Brady replacement we've ever had.

You're right. JG's got another 2 years technically but if they are going to move him next offseason which is even more likely since they will probs have to play him for 4 games, then it makes sense to set up the progression. If JG is good, they get something more for him...even if he sucks, they needed a new QB anyway. If TB somehow gets out of the suspension, Brissett sits on the PS all season. I think he could still be moved there for the remainder if forced to be active for 4 games right?

I woulda picked a DL or RB, but it makes all kinds of sense.

usually it's the 2nd round where bill gives us the head scratchers. however, everything got shifted back this year because of goodell, so in Bill's mind the second round was really the 1st round and the second round was really the 3rd.

we have sheard...and nikovich who gets around 8 sacks a year. and whatevers left of chris long. maybe we can bring easley back?? lol he's still unemployed!!!
