It is very ironic that the NFL...
(1) Is very quick to respond in "print" (i.e., the internet) when something is published that they don't like, but still haven't found the time to correct the Mortensen tweet and story that THEY leaked that set the entire narrative for Deflategate.
(2) Said that the NYT article was bogus because they "had no direct evidence", when the NFL itself used those SAME EXACT WORDS to describe the evidence they had against Brady and the Pats, which, of course, didn't stop them from levying the harshest penalty in NFL history for something that the rule book listed as a $25,000 fine.
(3) Said that the NYT cherry-picked information, when the NFL and Exponent and Ted Wells did EXACTLY that against the Patriots.
I mean, seriously.
