Are You Calling me a Liar? Why yes, yes I am.

The refs put the Jets balls at 16 and Tom was pissed off about it. And rightfully so. And Tom got pissed at Jast about it because, as Jast specifically said in his text messages, Tom wanted the balls at 13.0. Which is somehow proof that Tom wanted the balls under 12.5 apparently...

If this were baseball, people would be in prison. It's just incredible that this isn't front page news on the major networks "Investigative Reports" type stories. This just emboldens the MFL. They really think they can get away with anything, as they see fit. This has got to blow up in their face eventually. And I will Laugh, laugh, laugh...

And thus is the problem. You have a no BS approach; under oath, serious penalties of lying; you might actually get the truth. Put a gun against someone's head and make them believe you'll pull the trigger, wait until you see their pants get wet... very few will have the balls to lie. It's just too easy for people to BS the courts. It's disgusting. (of course this is kind of fantasy, you can't just put a gun to someone's head! )

Obviously there has to be a section in the rulebook that clearly stipulates having balls inflated over 2.5 above the prescribed limit will warrant no investigation or punishment and only balls that are under at all will be punishable by the harshest penalties ever levied in league history.

That section has to be in there somewhere, right? You can't have a commissioner just make up penalties as he goes along, correct?

I hope this won't negatively affect the value of my mint condition Clement rookie trading card.
Well the 1963 Pete Rose card is about $500.

Shoeless Joe Jackson 1919 card is $200k.

In 2102 the Paul Clement rookie card should be around $1k

And as has been pointed out, if there was a scheme to deflate footballs, why the ballboys complaining about the refs?

Robert Blecker obviously got under the guy's skin. He's really saying "I didn't lie. Goodell did. I just repeated what my client told me to say." Sleazy, deceptive and conniving, the lot of them.

This whole thing is a disaster. Even a fmr SGOTUS get sucked into this abyss of lies and deceit.

Calling out an attorney for lying is like calling out a surgeon for cutting.

I hope the court takes this into their decision and hopefully they see some jail time for lying under oath!

It's not "under oath." A lawyer's argument is not, strictly speaking, testimony.

Wells and Clement are certainly not the finest examples of the legal profession but can we please refrain from sh*tting on the entire profession.

Who would have thunk that 14 months after what seemed to be rather innocuous comments by Lenny's Dad, Bob, would have created such a freaking mess..

When NFL history is written, by anyone except an NFL tool, this will go down as a classic case of how not to proceed because of the law of unintended consequences..

The NFL in its blind rage against BB has unleashed an expensive shyt storm that they could have never imagined..

He wasn't under oath and I don't know how high (or low) the bar is for a reprimand, but the fact that he had to explain that he didn't "lie" and that he did so in a three page letter with a markedly condescending tone could be enough to tip a wavering Judge in the NFLPA's direction.

You'd think it would tip the Judges off about how weak the NFL's case is here. From day 1 the NFL has lied and and mislead the public about having a resemblance of a leg to stand on in handing out this punishment.

I don't support Trump at all, but in at least this case he was right. Brady should sue the league for $250,000,000 for defamation of character. Well, almost right. It should be for $1,000,000,000. Too bad he won't.

And, no matter how feeble an attempt we may think it to be, Kraft's going public now about his asking Goodell last month for a return of the Draft Picks because of the bad science in the Pash/Wells report is also probably timed to get the attention of the Judges.

I know what you mean. I drafted him in the first round of my Appellate Lawyer Fantasy League, now I might be f**ked!

Roger Goodell and Paul Clement are birds of a feather. Goodell wants to maintain his steely grip on
disciplining players, even if it involves lying and manipulating psi evidence. Clement doesn't hesitate
submitting evidence to an appeals court that it tainted with lies, even when he is informed beforehand that
the evidence is tainted. Clement is trying for one more big win to sew up a Supreme Court nomination.

File an Attorney Complaint

Filing a complaint against an attorney is a serious matter. Do so only as a last resort when all efforts to work out the problem with your attorney have failed.
