I used to really dislike him but he won me over with his reporting of deflategate. I'm also a huge Seinfeld fan and he sneaks references into his articles sometimes.

He's got a really irksome moralizing streak in a lot of his rhetoric, he's really out of his depth when he talks about anything outside of legal matters (e.g. actual football), and the PFTcommenter is a well deserved parody. That said, when he is talking legal stuff he tends to really get articulate and isn't afraid of coming down against the league- as was seen in first bountygate and then ballghazi.
