I have lived here for a total of 19 years, came here in the military. The altitude issue is very subjective, some folks feel it some dont. Myself I have never been affected by high altitude up to 14K, I know a lot of folks in my old unit in spec ops that didnt get affected but I knew a lot that did. I know guys that have lived here their entire life and they get affected by driving into the mountains...it just depends on the person. Im sure there is some small effect for everyone but not convinced it is affects everyones performance in a major way.

The earlier team that won our first 3 Super Bowls had way less rotation than this current team. The emphasis on rotation with this team I think somewhat negates the altitude advantage of the Broncos.

One things for sure, if the Gillette Stadium was in high altitude, the rest of the country will see it as having an advantage for the Pats and so the Pats are cheating. Goodell would fine the Pats and take away draft picks. In the off season, an owners meeting would make a rule that no stadium can be higher than a certain altitude. Kraft would be forced to build a new stadium or sell the team.
