I will be driving to the game tomorrow and should be down at the stadium by 11.

My brother is arriving on the train at the University Ave station in Dedham at 11:30. He asked about taking a cab/Uber to the game.

Has anyone ever done that? Can they drive in and drop him off at the retail entrance? I am hoping since it will be on the earlier side that he will be able to get close to the stadium rather than dropping him on Rt 1 somewhere.

Thanks for any advice.

why not take the Patriots train all the way to Gillette?

An uber or taxi is going to charge him a buttload to even get close to the stadium.

Just do what Danny Woodhead did once upon a time and parachute in

He can probably order a car service ahead of time that would be a nicer car for the same price or less.

I did back for the opener, and it cost me about $120 one way for Uber. Call like 3 hours ahead to account for traffic.

Lyft is a nice option, too.

Were you able to get dropped off at the stadium or did they have to drop you on Rt 1?

If by the Univ. ave station you mean the rt. 128 stop, then why is he getting off there? Is he coming north or south? By Amtrak?
