FYI, this is a Pats fan message board web site that is used for recreation and informational purposes. It is more dumb for you to call it a "dumb" thread then it is in fact dumb. There is also new information regarding the impact of those guys playing week 17, whether it is true or not it is out there. Plus Gronk might have had shots to his knee yesterday, AFTER a BYE week, which he did not need the prior few weeks (as far as we know).

I think the opposite. Pats shouldve gone all out to win the HFA. That way, rothelisberger wouldve still got hurt vs bengals, antonio brown wouldve still been ruled out and we would have had an 'easier' game in the divisional round.

It's completely hypocritical you are just to dumb to realize it. All you are really saying is that Belichick didn't do exactly what you wanted him to do, and considering that you wanted him to go for HFA but in retrospect not play the best players, and that would have been impossible.
