OT: KC Injuries To Keep An Eye On

Yeah, this whole situation is confusing me. Is it an ACL or a high ankle sprain?

A high ankle sprain is an ACL (knee) tear. GET IT?! GET IT?!

Watching all the players go down last weekend and before, considering the potential impact on next weekend and after, is a sad reminder this is very much a game of attrition.

I'd still put Butler on him one on one and focus safety help elsewhere until Maclin proves he's healthy enough to beat Butler one on one. I don't think Maclin is going to be anywhere near 100% on that ankle.
If Maclin is not healthy I want to see them put Nate Ebner on him. That'll be enough!

It seems like he has an ACL tear and the Chiefs are playing mind games.

Then again I haven't see their practice report. If it isn't listed as an ACL etc and then he has ACL surgery in 3 weeks will the NFL punish them for false injury reporting?

If was referring to Maclins miraculous 3 day recovery from a torn ACL. May be a minor tear but still a tear of some sort. You don't get a boot for that.

What's with this ACL tear stuff? All reports have stated that he has an ankle sprain. He's listed on the injury report with an ankle injury as well.

I just think folks just got a little excited and there was some confusion in the thread.

People speculated after the game that he likely tore his knee up again, since he was openly emotional, I suppose.

There was never word one from KC about his knee, and all accounts have him as questionable to play this week with a mild HAS.

NFL network actually has the Maclin injury as (hip) DNP, so that should add even more confusion.
