No Peyton?

Collins got hosed...
Stuff like that happens when the system is broken enough to let a player be chosen at two different positions. Collins would have fit in nicely at Mack's OLB spot if all the voters had just put him at DE where he belongs.

I think, like everything else the NFL does they over complicate everything.

It is clear as day a player like Mack and Von Miller are edge rushers, but yet they both can be classified has a DE/LB. They dont take into account whether teams play a 4-3 or 3-4. Just label them D lineman and edge rushers.

Mack and Miller mught be better at getting to the QB than Collins (They spend majority of the game rushing up field) but they arent as complete as a LB like Collins, who really has no weakness to his game.

Players who miss a bunch of games usually don't end up at first team All-Pro.

Quite frankly, as someone who is a fan of Collins, I don't thimk he's played very well since the injury/sickness. His tackling has been subpar, in both angles of attack and overall fundamentals. I hope he's getting some more rest before the playoffs.

Yes.

Hes been human

Collins is second team. We'll have to wait for the full vote counts to see whether he's the top second team OLB (that should have made first team instead of Mack) or if he's further back than that.

Apparently Collins received votes at 2 positions. Guessing some voted him as OLB and some voted him as an ILB.

Although he did miss 4 games so that probably hurt him in the eyes of the stats whores and then you had Mack having that 5 sack game that is still fresh in the minds.

Butler should've made 2nd team all pro over Chris Burnt Toast Harris. So close for malcolm. I think he was 6th in CB votes.

Also, the voters voting Harris over teammate Talib really shows they don't understand football.

It's like the voters of these things don't even watch football. Mack played OLB last year. He was exclusively a DE this year. Morons.

I actually think Harris is better than Talib...

Wait.. I just saw that Mack was voted at DE and OLB.

OH COME THE F*** on. Either call him a DE or OLB but not both.

Yea...apparently the Raiders play with 10 guys on the field because he plays both positions..

Brady got snubbed of second team all pro as well... Over Carson Palmer...

Certainly is telling for Collins though that he made second team all-pro despite missing a quarter of the season.

If this guy played all 16 games he would've been in the conversation for defensive player of the year IMO without a doubt.
