I disagree with the O line being as good as last year. NE doesn't run the ball as good as last season and that is a big problem.

Even at full strength, the formula to stop Brady is drop 8 and rush 3 forcing Brady to hang onto the ball.

They haven't played as well, because yes, we ran the ball better and Brady is holding on to the ball way to long.

Hopefully that will change and we can judge then.

I think the best answer I can give you is some people don't dwell on the negatives in life ...
I am one of those people ... I complain when it's helpful ... otherwise it's a waste of time.
They lost ... whatever ... these last 15 years have been a joy ... I can look past the losses very easily.
If they win again this year ... unreal ... if they don't ... they owe me nothing ... they have given much.

This was my worst fear. We couldn't or wouldn't get key players on the field to secure HFA and also have an offense that is anywhere near ready for the playoffs. This dysfunctional crew is going to be hard to fix in 2 weeks by adding guys who aren't t game ready.

I'm a little tired of the "Positive Pattys" myself. The team played like total 5h!t. Why can't anyone say that?. Does that mean they won't play better? Does that mean they will win the SB. No. it means they played like dog 5hit today. Get your head out of the sand. It's ok to say they played like 5h!t. Drop the koolaid and step away from the computer. They are still in it, but they lost HFA. That's a fact.

I think most people will agree the team played lousy today. In fact, anyone who thinks they played well might want to have their noggin checked out.

However, I think people get frustrated with the people saying this team is garbage, saying we're 'one and done', saying this team lacks heart or leadership.

I'm worried with our recent performances, especially our OL play. But I don't see or feel the need to push a narrative that this team should give up now like some people have.

I think you touched on the 'x factor'. How game ready will some of these returning players be, and with no continuity due to the injuries is two weeks enough to get everyone on the page?

I don't doubt this teams heart or leadership. The only thing I doubt is the personelle capabilities on the offensive line. The coaches threw me for a loop with the game plan today though....that's for sure.

I think the bye week is what this team needs. They haven't had a week off since September. That's tough on the body to heal minor injuries. Let the players get away from football for 3 or 4 days might do wonders
