You aren't my pal. You're some jump who just jumped on the Patriots bandwagon this year.

Yes, criticism can be warranted. Unfortunately for you, all you've done is whine like a 2 year old. That's all you did the entire game thread. Clearly showed you haven't watched much football and certainly haven't followed the Patriots long at all..

Now your just a clown. I am a passionate fan. You should take your medication and quit harrassing other fans

So much butt hurt in this thread its off the charts. Some of you want to jump off the bridge before we even play a playoff game, have fun with that.

Tom Brady noticeably limped away from the podium and had to support himself using the wall.

But everything is just fine.

Were playing like crap and I'm pissed off about it. That's a normal reaction. You don't like it...to bad.

I'm happy to be in the playoffs. Two weeks to prepare? Great!
Yes ... also happy we did not suffer any season ending injuries today ... hope Brady is okay.

Pretty sure they get to practice and improve during those two weeks right?

Coaching staff [pretty good one] gets to scheme against each team they play and overall? Sounds like a good deal.

So what exactly should we fans do about it?
Complaining is not going to help.... so any suggestions?

Here is my 2 cents. I think that the sentiment here by the time week 9-10 was rolling around was that this team has a chance at running the table, and talks of going 16-0 etc. started popping up. The problem was that the injury bug hit hard and multiple players in key positions got injured. I viewed the Denver game/loss like the loss to Green Bay last year, the team felt they should have won, but realized their vulnerability. I think at least psychologically, loosing Gronk was the bigger loss that day.

After that, week over week, injury after injury dictated how they played. People were complaining that when Gronk went down, they should have been running not throwing at that point in the game. I think BB, and JMD probably agree, not to put any key players in position to get injured for the rest of the season. Once they secured the 1st round bye, being #1 or #2 makes no difference as history has shown it becomes a toss up at that point, and whomever is the healthiest usually will win. Since 2007, the Pats have frequently lost at home in the playoffs, heck, if I am not mistaken, they lost a home game in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013. This team when healthy is better than those 4 teams, and I would almost say is better than last year as well. Health is far more important that a regular season win especially when every other team plays their best when playing the Pats.

If there is any concern, its of the Pats being 'rusty' when everyone comes back in 2 weeks. I look at the last 4+ weeks as a sort of 'pre-season' in that players that are the 'depth' are given a major roll in real game situations. That is something that cannot be measured in value. Looking at the AFC, the 6 teams that made the playoffs are all deserving, but at full strength weren't we talking about running the table a few weeks ago? Assuming that there are no injuries in the upcoming games (yes I used plural) I have no worries about going to Denver (if that happens) and winning. The only thing that can stop the Pats is themselves (and we already got that game out of the way when we played Philly).

Home field is a nice luxury, but the better team will win even on the road.

I'm a little tired of the "Positive Pattys" myself. The team played like total 5h!t. Why can't anyone say that?. Does that mean they won't play better? Does that mean they will win the SB. No. it means they played like dog 5hit today. Get your head out of the sand. It's ok to say they played like 5h!t. Drop the koolaid and step away from the computer. They are still in it, but they lost HFA. That's a fact.
