In October Pryor kept Gronk in check and the Jets were winning the game..
Pryor got hurt in the fourth qtr and Gronk went into beast mode..
Injuries work both ways..
A loss is a loss.. Hopefully we get them in January..
In trying to make your point you made Shmessy's point.
But the way you arrived at your point is incorrect
First off the jests weren't winning. Pats were winning when he left. In fact on the play he got hurt on Pats had entered jests territory and were driving and had to settle for a FG to go up 16-10 after Edelman dropped a TD that would have put them up 20-10.
jests only had the lead for 2 drives after Pryor went out. Went up 17-16, then 20-16 before the Pats retook the lead in the 2nd half. 23-20, then went up 30-20.
So with Pryor on the field Pat scored 16 points with him off of it they scored 14.
As for Gronk, he had 44 yards before Pryor went out and 64 yards after he went out. WOW a whole 20 yards difference.
Also Chandler knocked Pryor out of the game when he posterized him on a route up the sideline for a 30 yard catch.
Then there is the fact that Gronk in the game Sunday only had 22 yards less than he did in the 1st game and Pryor played the whole game.
Now let's continue your point, take Marshall, Decker, Gilchrist, Pryor, Ferguson, Carpenter out of either game, do you really think the jests come close to beating the Pats?
Also if you want to play the Pryor went out injured **** for the game in Foxboro, here was the list of inactives for the Pats that day
Jabaal Sheard
Dion Lewis
Keshawn Martin
Brandon Bolden
Marcus Cannon
Shaq Mason
Bryan Stork (was not back from short term IR)
Ya i'm sure Sheard or Lewis wouldn't have made a difference in that game. Not to mention Pats were missing 3 of their current starting OL in that game (Stork, Cannon and Mason)
