While McCourty and Hightower would have been great, difficult to disagree with the selections as it is a great cross section of our team.. there are only so many slots.

McCourty has very little to support a pro bowl spot this season, he has 1 interception and 3 pass defends this season, not much of playmaker this season.

The thing this year though is that a lot of guys were snubbed at each of their positions, they weren't the only ones who were snubbed.

Neither one of them deserved to make the pro bowl this year. Hightower has been in and out of the lineup all year.

He has not played or exited early in 6 of the 14 games this season. He is a great player no doubt, that is not something I'm debating. I am just not a big enough delusional homer to believe he deserves the pro bowl spot over a player like Bowman who has more than twice the tackles while playing a similar position. Bowman leads the NFL in tackles, Hightower is 5th on this team in tackles..
