Eric Martin
Hankerson
Kitchen
Waddle

Which are eligible for the PS after they pass waivers?

Or will Belichick surprise us with someone else?

Wait till after Sunday and see who goes to IR. Probably have a slot open then.

Asante Cleveland might be an option too (hopefully clears waivers and goes back to the Practice Squad)

I'd guess Kitchen though

Eric Martin (concussion) and Jonathan Freeny (hand) are both out for the game. One
or the other will be put on IR?

Kitchen? I definitely missed that signing. Don't we have plenty of big bodies up front?

I'd say that Hankderson and Waddle are definitely staying. I would think it would be between Martin and Kitchen or if there is a surprise, maybe T. Wilson.

Anyone know the rules for being eligible to PS? Kitchen looks like a veteran.

NFL practice squad rules, everything you need to know

In addition, a player is allowed on the practice squad for two years. If a player is on the practice squad for six weeks, up fron three weeks per the previous agreement, in a season, it is considered a year of PS sevice. Players are only allowed to be on a practice squad for a third year if their team keeps 53 players on the active-inactive list at all times.

Turns out to have been Eric "Ventrone" Martin.

IIRC last year down the stretc they went with VW, Seal, Branch and Chris Jones on the inside. This year it's Brown, Branch, Seal, Hicks....and Kitchen. I think three things are going on 1) BB wants to keep the big bodies fresh and not play a DT 75% of the plays like VW. he needs that pass rush 2) He will use Hicks more in Easy's role as an interior rusher which takes more energy and plug in a run stuffer instead of Hicks on those downs that call for it. 3) Seal hasn't played as well this year as opposed to last year. I speculate that the foot surgery he had hasn't fixed the issue and he doesn't have that burst so they are hedging their bets with a healthy Kitchen.

Eric Martin will be the first to go is my bet. Cleveland might be next as they already have 3 TEs. I do wonder if Grissom will get the Foxboro Flu.

I get this hunch that Kitchen is a major space-eater type.

But, what's a kitchen to a mountain?
