I agree Robbo...Clowningsworth has entered "repeated punching of his mouth until he shuts the eff up" territory. He's a small-minded, pinheaded has-been, near never was Patriot hater. Someone should stick his head up Bart Hubbuch's azz and plaster the pic on a bottle of Hatorade.

Why fear the Steelers at all? Just pressure their fatass rapist QB and that offense falls apart. Last years Ravens proved it. Ben looked like he didn't belong in the postseason after how the Ravens were punking him around on the field and that was with him having a great regular season. He had back to back 6 td games last year too. The Steelers were talked about being this big fearful team going into the playoffs. Then what happened? They lost 30-17.
This year's Ravens proved it.

I like that TB hasn't given up on the bomb to Lafell. They may need that play in the playoffs so might as well keep on trying until they get it right.

That bomb early was a perfect pass, Lafell needs to attack it like Keyshawn Martin attacks punts. ...just don't muff it.

Lets hope DMac's ok. He's like the QB of the defensive backfield

Reiss said somewhere that the word on the street is it's minor, no sign of how long he'll miss, though.

Also, don't sleep on Harmon, he's damn good this year and will sub in hardly missing a beat, biggest issue is who takes Chung's spot when we go 2-deep safeties on obvious passing downs. (For what it's worth, and it's not much, PFF has DMC, Harmon, and Chung as 3 of their top 15 rated safeties this season, the fact that our Safeties get so much attention for how good they are gives a lot of flexibility.)

We need our DL to play like they did tonight for the rest of the season and once HT comes back teams will give up running on us like they did for a decent stretch.

Brandon needs to spend a lot more time with the Jugs machine.

I don't even know what it was, his drops in CAR were overstated, this season, they are NOT overstated at all. He's legit dropped a ton of catchable passes, at least when Edelman when on his drop spree it was after a fresh hand injury (not his ugly pinky, whatever DID happen to his hand).

LaFell just forgot how to catch.

Yeah. Not sure what the deal with LaFell is. He had the one bad drop again. He did, however, end up catching 5 on the night. Just wish they'd stop throwing the bubble screen to him. He is not the player who should be running that. Amendola or Gronk should be the ones. And why the hell didn't they throw it to Gronk when the defender was 10 yards off him.. That would have been the perfect time.

Keyshawn Martin started off well on special teams, but the muffed punt was unacceptable.

The refs blew the "Illegal Block in the Back" call on Eric Martin that negated Keyshawn Martin's 1st return. A Texans player actually hit and spun Martin from behind causing him to spin into the other Texans player in front of him. You can't call that on Martin because he was pushed to begin with.

Also felt they blew the second Replay Review on White's catch on the Sidelines. White's entire right foot and the toes on his left foot came down inbounds with White holding the ball. That's a catch. Period. It shouldn't matter if his heel comes down OOB after the toes touch.

The "holding" call on Jackson late in the 3rd quarter was also BS. Jackson never held Watt on that play.

The interior O-line continues to have issues picking up stunts. The O-line also seemed to have issues with the back-side pursuit. Outright ignoring it twice leading to Clowney and Watt both makings stops behind the line on running plays.

Not sure what the issue the team had with Jonas Gray but if Blount is out for any length of time, they may want to reconsider bringing back Gray. And no, Bolden isn't a viable option. He's late to the hole about 50% of the time.

Special teams, beyond the muffed punt by Martin, was lights out tonight.. Nice rebound

Triplette repeatedly tried to give the Texans an "extra" push with his blatant calls but just seemed to give up by the 4th quarter. Props to the Pats D for tapping out the Texan offense. I still despise Triplette and do not want to see his crew again this season.

Just posted a thread that shows, plain as day, that White's reception that was over-turned was done so incorrectly..

what I find sad is I tell this board what a certain ref crew WILL do in certain games...they do exactly what I predict...and there is still this blind pushback against the idea that agendas are in play in this league. The total disgust and blatant disdain Collingsworth showed for the Patriots after they seized control of this game was so tangible you could have made a thousand billboards out of it.

Next week at home, I wager the Pats get a normal ref crew assignment...and then, if the Jets game means anything the following week, if they NEED a fix to get in, I predict Boger's crew gets THAT game. The obvious media/NFL hatred towards the Patriots organization is right out in the open this season, however. You notice, absolutely ZERO ball pressure measuring, incidents, rumors, reports..NADA...yet the Goon is spending well over 10 million dollars in legal fees fighting the open lie the whole world KNOWS is fraudulent.

Collinsworth is like the 522 error on this site. when the team has a bad play , whatever you hear feels anti pats always.

It's goes way above the NFL. It's the FBI as well. How can they stand by, with betting and other things in play, and watch a multi billion dollar operation do what the NFL is doing? If this was some 2 bit organization, the Feds would be all over it. Someone or someone's are lining some pretty influential pockets I do believe.

It was pretty funny how much the media wanted this to be a game the pats could lose, they were trying to build up Houston just like they did a few years ago with the Letterman jacket game. JJ watt sure had a huge impact with his 2 tackles, im really sick of hearing about how great this guy is

We have a very visible, very severe national security problem. No way the government sics the FBI on the one pastime that keeps the masses occupied when they should be using all their assets on the terrorism threats. Just the opposite, I suspect the government LOVES all the controversy generated by the NFL and Goodell the past few years.Keeps eyes over there and you can't see what's going on over here.

Pats replay on right now....NFLN 2:48 a.m.

Triplette immediately negates a nice Martin PR... man, he's such a frickin' azzole

"great play by Joseph!!!" crows Collingdork...clear PI...unreal...I just rewind it over and over...clear PI on a pass down to the 20 yard line...brushed off and reported as "great!!"...Joseph had BOTH hands on LaFell..ridiculous. You gotta watch the replay to rehash what this crew sets out to establish...it's a travesty

I'm a bit lost here. Are you suggesting you don't like Collinsworth??

no..I do not. I may have in my 20's or 30's or even 40's..but today, after the decades of experience I've built up, I can see the obvious...he's a pimp, pure and simple. I don't blame him for what he does, only that he THINKS grown men older than he buy his schtick. He's all about HIS career at NBC Sports...the same NBC Sports that is in bed with Roger Goodell and NFL Offices. If I were in his shoes I'd probably do the same thing. Hypocritical, obviously but show me a breathing human and I'll show you a hypocrite at one time or another in this "civilized" construct we call life.
