Game Day Thread OFFICIAL: Patriots at Texans Game Thread

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

That was just Hoyer being Hoyer.

Will this stand ?

Incomplete

replay refs are now debating how they are gonna screw us over

This is part of the conspiracy to make it look fair.

They knew it was a forward pass but called it a fumble rewarding the Pats the ball knowing full well it was going to be reviewed and changed. These guys are sneaky like that.

It's a incomplete pass

Please dear god bring Mccourty back.
All Patriot fans want for Christmas is Devin Mccourty and Julian Edelman back on the field.

ok, this time I am going to say it was a forward pass and lets see what this ****ed up refs will say. I have been wrong on all the close calls.

Well we know it won't stand...but I wonder what the right call should be.

If the tuck rule were still in play, that would have been an incompletion, but Hoyer was clearly trying to bring it back and simply didn't hold on to the ball

  • Agree
Reactions: TBR
We need to brin the damn kitchen sink once in a while Hoyer is getting awfully comfortable

Bleh. I wish we'd get a lucky break, but they aren't going to call that a fumble.

Officials overruling the call on the field, believe it was a 17 yard completion.

So the Pats D now appears to be playing mostly 2 deep safeties. That changes a lot about what you do on D and means you get less aggressive and more predictable. Harder to make exotic looks with 2 deep safeties.

Sometimes just incompetence. Obvious incomplete.
