The way I see this shaping up is that the#1 seed will be playing Pitt.....and the Pats with the #2 seed could very well be having home field throughout.
I see Pitt and KC both winning out, KC beat Pitt head to head so Pitt #6 seed.

Hate to say it, but #2 seed could very well be the easier path to the SB, and avoiding Pitt in first game and instead getting a KC/Hou is much much better.

Wrong. If they signed Sanders, Edelman wouldn't have been back. LaFell had little to do with them not signing Sanders.

Amendola is more of a reason why the Pats didn't sign Sanders than LaFell is.

Edelman signed his one year deal in 2013 on same day they signed Sanders to offer sheet. Amendola had already signed a month prior.

And Lafell was a year later.

It was a terrible and not serious offer sheet to Sanders. Low on money and if they had gone higher Steelers would have hesitated to match.
