Edelman back at practice

Man. Sweet!!! Could he be back for the dolphins game? Maybe knock some rust

Wow, didn't expect to see him back this soon. Still hope he takes it slow though, foot injuries are the kind of thing that can quickly become career-derailing if you aren't careful with them.

But regardless, this has to be a good sign. If his recovery is going as quickly as it looks, I think we can pretty comfortably assume he'll be back for the playoffs at a minimum.

I personally would have gone "Boom-Shakala", but this is good too...

I still wouldn't expect to see him in a game for a while, but it's a positive sign toward some week 17 action. I have no idea why this has stuck with me, but I always think about Marvin Harrison's fumble in the 2007 playoffs (his first game back after missing almost 3 months) and would be a lot more comfortable with a guy like Edelman getting limited snaps in a regular season game before the playoffs start.

Toms been feeding him avacado ice cream. That's pretty impressive though you have to admit, guy is a beast. I still expect him out a couple more weeks.

If he doesn't play next week against the Titans, I think we need to question whether his dad is calling the shots. I mean, it's either that or he's soft as a roll of Charmin Ultra. (amidoinitrite?)

Visual proof that Squirrels heal quickly!

Just in time to finish the Festival of Lights!

Great to see him back practicing. I think he'll take it slow for the next few weeks and hopefully there will be no setbacks and come time for the playoffs he'll be ready to go!!!! Great news though

No doubt they'll be cautious, but it's pretty freaking great just symbolically to have the dude out there...

Unbelievable. I just hope he puts his own health first and does not come back too soon. Doing that and getting reinjured will not help him or the team. The same goes for Gronk.

Here come the Chief Dark Clouds...

Haven't seen any of that in any of the Edelman threads. There's been a lot of reference to medical science and realism, but not any pessimism that I've noticed.

This development means that the surgery went well, there's not sign of infection (which is huge), and that it is healing on schedule. If it continues on this path, we see him by the playoffs. If the healing slows down, or he re-injures it (which is not uncommon with this injury), then we don't. Pretty simple.

Just remember...A Slow Squirrel is a Dead Squirrel

Wow, how is this even possible?? What an awesome, unexpected surprise.

Guy is awesome but I dont think this means that much. Edit: Dont think it means much right now.

If you are saying it doesn't mean much toward Jules playing Sunday then you are quite correct. If you are saying it doesn't mean much outside of that then you are a bit out in left field. A return to practice is almost a guarantee he will return to the field before the end of the season. How does that not mean much when some estimates said he may not be ready until the AFCCG?

Maybe play limited snaps against the dolphins? Could be a possibility
