WR Julian Edelman (11) is back at Patriots practice for the first time since injuring his left foot Nov. 15.

Wow, guy is a machine.

Hasn't even been four weeks.

Sweet. Obviously Jules will not be playing in a game for awhile, but good to see him out on the practice field.

Patriots WR Julian Edelman didn't appear to have any brace on his foot in his return to practice.

This guy is unreal!

And there's a Gronk next to him, BTW

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as he isnt pushing himself , its good that his rehab has started. Maybe jets or fins game with limited snaps might be a target. Plus who knows what the injury was exactly. People compared it to Dez' bryant's injury but maybe it was something different.

Great news. Pretty much assures he is back this season. I stand by keeping Gronk out till the Jets game and Jules a nice week 17 dust off game in the first quarter (for all Welker-Houston flashbacks, fair game).

Needs to be careful. I'd expect they're slowly easing him back in until he feels that he's fully ready. And, even then, they need to make sure. Edelman is the kind of guy that's so loyal to the club and his teammates that he will put them before himself. There's nothing wrong with that... unless you're a receiver that relies on getting in and out of cuts quickly and aggressively and you're on the mend from a broken foot.

That said, that is a sight for sore eyes.

Guy is awesome but I dont think this means that much.
Well, It probably means the recent report that had him " Maybe not ready at the beginning of the P/O's" was wrong.

I never listen to that crap anyway - I have no faith or trust in the media at all, the only reason to be happy on this is because we actually have a picture

Edelman looked slightly gimpy while jogging today. He's still a ways away.

That's to be expected. I don't think anyone thought he'd be back this week or even next week.

It's still a good sign, and those who thought he would not be back for the playoffs should be less concerned now.

But but but I was told he could miss the season........ How can this be!????

Needless to say, seeing both Edelman and Gronk on the practice field is very reassuring. Even if we don't get the bye, knowing they're working their way back makes me feel very confident.
