Gronk Practicing Thursday 12/10

First five minutes of maz / felger (before I switched), they question what the team is doing, suspecting a show by the pats to say all is well, think something is fishy, question relationship between player and team. Dad is holding Gronk back but team says high five and welcome back as they nudge him on the field. This, of course is a scary scenario, they are rushing him back, again. Then, they question how could Zo hear he's out for a couple of weeks and then, there he is.

OK enough, I'm done........can't listen anymore. I HATE these two the most.

Ahhhhh thank goodness for Thornton, Holley and Arnold.

Thats because they're weasels that will say and do anything for attention. I'll get my 1 year token of sobriety from Idiot and Spaz in February of 2016

All I care about is that smile on BB's face giving Gronk a high five at practice. I must confess that when he got down and was pounding the ground, I stopped caring for the Denver game and the season as I thought we were done. So if he needs to be %300 percent before coming back, I am down with it. We just have to win two more games and we are in the tournament and heading to the ship as Gronk will say.

People act like Gronk doesn't work extremely hard off the field and loves to play football. He cried when he tore the ACL. People talked about him being somewhat less happy-go-lucky when he couldn't play. Do I believe his family is a bit too vocal and are pulling strings? Yes. But some people are saying if he isn't back by a certain game, then it's the family. That's stretching it, even after what we've seen in the past. These players have a right to protect themselves too. It's not just the team banking on and investing in them. They are doing that as well.

I suffered a bruised knee once. Slammed it against the table during the international pig tossing tournament. Pain management my ***. I just swallowed a bottle of advil and went out there the next day and competed. My team needed me. I was there for them. Tossing pigs left and right. Yes siree Bob. If I could do it ....Gronk can do it. What's the difference between tossing pigs and catching pigskins? Pain management ....give me a break.

This story has gotten blown way out of proportion. Give it break. He'll be back.

The analogies in this thread are going hog wild.

Have you been drinking?

But that could have been mental over physical.

It obviously wasn't though, as anybody could tell by watching him try to block in that game. On the touchdown, the arm dangled at his side. You can feel free to believe that he was fully ready to go but I think it's quite obvious the second break being blamed on the plate is a convenient scapegoat. Anyone that watched that Miami game should have been able to see that he wasn't 100% and that's also why they limited his snaps in that contest. He can't make the same mistake this time around with his knee.

Yep, it was one of the saddest Gronk spikes I have ever witnessed. Mostly probably only second to that TD against the Chiefs last year.

Jeff Howe ?@jeffphowe 2m2 minutes ago
Belichick was following Gronk up and down the jogging line. He was pumped and jacked to have the tight end back on the field.

Here's visual evidence from @photowilcox of Belichick walking up to give Gronk a high-5

BB is actually teaching him proper technique for the low 5 because Brady really struggles with the high five.

Whenever I look at this tread title it looks like 10 people are disagreeing with Gronk practicing...

Yes, each time leaving the question of why:
  • are they disagreeing with the observation that he is practicing ("The OP is wrong.")?
  • are they disagreeing with the decision to allow him to practice ("Gronk should be resting.")?
  • are they disagreeing with the OP's emotional response to Gronk practicing?
  • are they disagreeing with something else in the post? It could be anything in these sentences:
    • Still think he sits this week.
    • But he has to be back by next week.
    • If he is out of any game beyond the Texans, then we have to look at Team Gronk as being too meddlesome.
    • If he is back by the Titans, I owe him and his dad an apology.
The Red X is such a helpful communications tool!

Officially listed as Questionable for Sunday.

If he plays, it will be a limited number of snaps, I assume.
