OK! The running game struggles. Could it be because when a team see Blount they defend the run and when they see White (doing Lewis' job) they defend the pass? Why not have them both on the field and motion one of them out wide?

I think you mean they should do that more? It is very very infrequent these days but they do do it.

Some of this is obviously OL related. A fair part of this is related to the injury to Lewis. Blount seeming like he can't hit a hole direct and with authority is a part of it. Even no Develin takes away a bit of extra flexibility in play calling (and varying TE limitations). Bottom line is the Patriots have limited play calling flexibility as their rush game currently lives. I'm with BB when he says he isn't interested in calling plays just for balance or the like. As the Patriots are currently built their short passing game is going to be far more productive than the running game. Yardage production per play is singular in its importance unlike balance.

Patriots rushing game is by far the least productive unit of the team. I think it is fair to say it flat out sucks right now. However, if White's performance in the passing game last Sunday night is an indication of what he can do, when Jules and Gronk are back he is going to get on the fielda lot more and with prime opps to be targeted by Brady. If that is the case he will get some rushing touches too. I'm sure JM/BB want there to be tape on that as well as what production it can generate.

I am all for it I think James White would thrive in the Full House set with a free release he would put alot of pressure on the Defense.

I'm all for it too, especially during 3rd/4th downs & short-yardage/goal-line situations.

I mean, our WR options are so limited right now, why not use a 2 back set often? Blount has been more productive in the passing game this year than our #3/#4 receiver anyways.

Sounds deceptive, are you trying to undermine the integrity of the game?

We could design a play where we send one runner in motion and have the other run behind him...
Would that be fair enough?
