Need to give Brady a few seconds especially when most of his weapons are injured. Gone are the days of getting the ball out in 2.5 seconds until the team gets healthy again.
Pats still in good shape time wise. Just be ready to snap the ball when the injury time out is over. If they get 30 more yards that have a chance to get some points.
I'm guessing he was thinking, worse case, they still have to go 60 yards, no big return and if we pick it up we could go up 3 touchdowns and start resting some people.
