Well,you are talking about an animal that should be able to cover a full mile in well under 2 minutes depending on breeding,You have to give a human a decent head start.
 
What was the point of that?

It's a 200 meter race and he gets a 100 meter head start?
 
Did Mr. Ed have any kids?

If so, perhaps they could have one race against Chad and see who could run his mouth the fastest.

Head start to the Horse. Of course.
 
The good thing is that this is for charity.
 
Did you here him say he wants to race a nascar driver fight Mayweather and take on Kobe or Lebron.I think he might need some therapy, but then again watching Mayweather knock him around a while might be fun
 
It was good to see Shannon Sharpe participate in the race against Johnson.
 
That's great, I hope he does all those other things he mentioned for charity, you've just gotta love ocho cinqo.

I'd settle for watching him be knocked around by Meriweather.
 
Pretty disgusting publicity stunt. Certainly doesn't prove anything in the slightest with the huge head start Johnson had. Notice you can't even figure out how HUGE because of the chosen camera angle.

Interesting point is that humans CAN beat horses over long distances. Did you know that ? The person just keeps running after the horse, spooking it into running again. The horse has no time to graze or rest and the human has the greater endurance and eventually runs the horse down. That is how the Indians of yore many times captured wild mounts. Interesting tidbit.
 
From what I understand the horse had to cover 200M and Chad Johnson had to cover 100M. Considering that the horse has 4 legs and Chad Johnson only has 2 legs, it seems pretty fair mathematically speaking. I think they should have set up a tape for the finish line though. They probably didn't because that might have spooked the horse.
