It is fair to say that Rodger's OL play has been overall much better though.

GB is 7-4 with Cobb and Jones as their only good passing options. You could Argue maybe Rodgers should throw more to Lacy though. The biggest statistical issue is see is the 23.8 PPG for the 11th best offense.

Even in 2013 Brady lead Offenses got 27.8PPG, Brady's lowest PPG are 2013 - 27.8, 2009 26.7, 2006 24.1, 2005 23.7. So basically to find Brady having an offense equal to what GB has had this year you need to go back to years where he had almost no help and the rules were not there to help offense as much.

Rodgers is still an elite QB just not the by far best QB in the game like everyone said last year. What Brady can do with mediocre receivers is simply so underrated that most thought Rodgers could do the same.

I will not be trashing Rodgers. Look to 2006, look to Brady's numbers, and let 'er rip.

I would take Brady in a New York minute over Rodgers (and anybody else), but 'clutch' does not trump a lack of receiver competence or a defense that can save that offense (see 2006 Bears). It is still a team sport.

Cam is now the MVP candidate, and I would take Rodgers over him any day of the week.

GB's current playmakers are slow, lack quickness, a few look like they need to start eating vegetables and lay off the brats.....and their routes lack creativity. Right now, Rodgers targets are pedestrian.
And look how Brady fared without his #1 target last week.....a Rodgers-like statistical performance.

I do see more fight in Brady right now. Loved how he was trash talking, working the refs, all fired up despite the beating he took. The hungriest I've ever seen the guy. Let's get him a defensive TD or two and take some pressure off the GOAT.

You don't get to have it both ways. If you're going to be graded in the "GOAT" division, you get graded on a curve, and this stuff deserves to be mentioned.

You can't say "OMG HE'S THE BEST", and then when he can't overcome a couple of injuries, then say "But but but...0-line, receivers, defense, etc".

It's not "ripping a great player". It's putting a very good player into his proper category.

No one has once said "Rodgers Sucks". That's an invention in your minds. He's just not the best in the league, and nor should he garner that kind of discussion until he proves he can do it. If anything, this year, he's proven he can't.

You do make a reasonable point however, we're in week 12 of this season, not week 4 of last season. Nelson's been out long enough for Green Bay to adjust, they simply haven't.

Because Brady is 14-4 in the rest of his playoff appearances? Maybe? Also, what are their records SINCE 2009? (Hint: Rodgers is 2-5, one of those being a clutch win over the immortal Joe Webb)

This is the thing, you can throw regular-season stats up all you want, and all that proves is that he's a very good QB on a very good team, which was good before he got there - drafted well - and is still good.

What you can't refute (and none of the Rodgers defenders can), is once the Packers trail by two scores, Aaron Rodgers has never been able to overcome that deficit. Ever.

Newton, Palmer, hell Andy Dalton - I've seen all these guys lead their teams back from multiple scores to win. I've never, ever seen Aaron Rodgers do that. Ever.

It's easy to put up stats when you're a frontrunner, and your defense and coaching can help carry you. Now that it can't, and there have been injuries on offense, where are they, exactly?

I hope you can ignore the people who make the childish nicknames, because those arguments aren't serious - and I'm pretty sure you know that.

The point is, he's a very good quarterback who has shown zero ability to lead his team through any sort of adversity throughout the course of a game.
