If you had one Q for BB what would it be?

Not open for further replies.
He answered that one already. He said they used to use the pre-recorded crowd noise and that it would always give him a head ache. He said after every practice he would always need 4 excedrin. Funny dude that Belichick!

Thanks! That's been bugging me for years. I wonder if he gets a headache from real crowd noise.

Didn't the CIA use blaring music to force Noriega to come out of his palace in Nicaragua? They said it was a form of torture -- of course they did use AC/DC. BB is alot more nefarious than we thought.

Maybe Samuel just really hates Bon Jovi.

for whats its worth I would ask him if brady were drafted elsewhere would he still have a job????

That was a lot of fun
Every one got a chance to get an auto graph and picture with BB. We got individuals and one as a family.

Food was great we almost saw Schillings no-no..

then the meat the question and answer which was cool. I recorded it so at some point I will transcribe it That may take a few days.

the best stuff he had to say were....

He went thru the Moss trade in detail Saying how it was one of the strangest trades the way it went down time constraints, talking to him in the early morning and getting the physical and restructure all done before 11 or 1130 when the 9th pick of that round would be selecting.

I asked him giving an emphasis on roles of his players can he detail his role on any given play or situation?

his answer was that he really tries to let those around him know ahead of time what he is looking for out of a givin situation examples were if were at a spot on the field where he would go for it on fourth he tries to let Josh now on 1st or 2nd down so he calls his plays acording. or if they are trying to kill clock he will tell him in advance you will be calling a run on third.

it was a cool insight to his responsibilties on the sidelines during play.

more to come......

And if the Patriots or any other team drafted Marino, you'd be the Arizona Cardinals for the past 35 years...but not as good.

How unbelievably cool was that !!!!! I didn't get a chance to ask a question (BB would have gone on a lot longer if it wasn't for that Wolf guy) but that was my wife who asked the Hoodie qustion which got a huge chuckle. Pictures with the coach , autographs....a dream come true.:rockerwith John Hannah thrown in too!!!) I'll wait until you post your transcribe (please leave out the guy asking what motivational books he reads )I'll fill in what I remember tommorow. unbelievable !!!

I wont get a chance to transcribe until the weekend prolly sat if not ill do it some time during the week. the tape recorder didnt record great so it will take me some time to do it and I'll need a free couple of hours.

A few more tidbits off the top of my head

a few guys asked about asante and recieved stock answers although one of the stock answer made it seem like there was still hope as BB said we will see how it turns out (not much there though)

he got into the snow game a bit as one guy asked if he felt we got some luck there that may have changed the fortunes of the future of the team.

BB basically said while we may have gotten a little lucky here or there that in football things evan out and said the way things happened in indy could have been a little different for the better and we would all be saying things different there...(very loose paraphrase here but kinda the jist)

one guy asked how hard a choice it was to keep brady as the 4th qb?

he said it was tough they contemplated trying to put him on the practice squad and eventually didnt want to risk it. he also went on to say that neal would have been another example of a young developing talent that they needed to be careful in how they stashed until he developed and also said that they havent lost to much young talent that they were devolping and said that they did lose one but did not mention who...obvious who would be Deoin but in context of the conversation me and my family surmized maybe robbie gould.

What did you ever see that made you think Duane Starks would be a good fit in New England?

My impressions the day after are that the coach seemed really happy. He looked really fit up close and unlike other celebrity meetings I've had he seemed like he really enjoyed being there. He really seemed like he enjoyed the type of questions people were asking and he would have gone on longer unless the event coordiantor cut him off. He bristled at the question about the change in philosophy from past years to this year. He basically said "I couldn't disagree with you more" "we had more cap space this year so we spent it, we haven't changed philosophy" My wifes question was "coach , whats up with the Hoodie ? is it superstious why you wear it , is it the same one? " He answered his arms are short and the sleeves would hang down too low and he just puts on whatevers in front of him in his locker. His most memorable game- Rams SB36 (he said they were the better team but football is about who plays a better game) most memorable game decision-calling for the safety against Denver. Both got big cheers from everybody. There were only about 60 people there . We went up a table at a time for autographs and pictures with THE MAN. A night I'll never forget.

Wait, I thought BB was an orge, a "flawed" man, uncommunicative and sullen. Are you sure it really was BB?

Excellent question.

In addition to Starks, we could also use:
Brock Williams
Kenyatta Jones
Jabari Holloway
Leonard Myers
Owen Pochman
TJ Turner
Antoine Womack
Bethel Johnson
Dan Klecko (at DL instead of ILB)
Kliff Kingsbury
Spencer Nead
Ethan Kelley
Guss Scott (instead of Nathan Vasher?)
Dexter Reid
Cedric Cobbs (instead of Michael Turner?!)
PK Sam
Christian Morton
Andy Stokes
Jeremy Mincey
Dan Stevenson
Donald Hayes (wasn't Joe Jurevicius available then?)
Cam Cleeland (instead of keeping Wiggins)
Victor Green
Rick Lyle
Tyrone Poole
Gene Mruczkowski
Brandon go-right-in Gorin
Eric Alexander
Monty effin Beisel (as an ILB, esp.)
Chad Brown
Arturo Freeman (as a SS? Are you serious?)
Michael Stone
Doug the lazy moron Gabriel
Kelvin Kight
Corey Mays
Antwain Spann
Ken Walter, part 2
Rashad Baker
Kelley Washington
Randy Moss
Sammy Morris
Eddie Jackson
Tory James
CJ Jones (does BB owe Ferentz a favor or something?)
And last, but also least, Everyone From The 2007 Draft

I have not included the 2000 Draft busts, or those who were drafted at least one round earlier than they should have been drafted. I'm feeling generous.

Sure sounds like you are being facitious....

Some of them I definitely agree with you on.... Including Beisel which i ate crow on...

But some have been good pick-ups. Kelvin Kight and Michael Stone were solid on special teams. Ty Poole gave the Pats 2 very good years. Brandon Gorin was a decent back-up tackle who helped the Pats win a SB.

It would be great if those at the event could post some pics of it!

I have begun to transcribe the event. It is going to be really long. Not sure what the best way to post it will be maybe a moderator can advise me here....

Crowpointer if you want I can email it to you when I am done if I dont post it right away.

It is fun to transcribe it there have already been a few tidbits i didnt quite pick up on the first time hopefully I will finish tonite. He kind of jumps around an it is a little chopy i might want to edit alittle when i am done.

Moderator please advise me how to post what could be 4 plus pages of a microsoft word doc.

I just finished transcribing the event but I am not sure whether I should post it in it's entirety. It was a private event and I don't want to step on any of the hosts toes by posting it and also not sure wether it is right to post it if BB wouldn't want it posted what do you guys think specifically what do the moderators think.

I'm not a moderator, but i did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night, so I say POST IT!!!

I say post it too. There is nothing in the faq stating any restrictions about a post's size, number of images, etc.

Darn wish I had got here in time to get you to ask him what his favorite color is.
