Colts QB Andrew Luck Out 2-6 Weeks

So how tough will it be for the Colts to make and advance in the playoffs?

Should they just pack it in and play for a higher draft pick?

They've done it before.

They should go for a QB

So is there still any chance the colts don't win the division? Probably still win it by 3

I have exactly zero sympathy for Andrew Luck.

I bet he feels deflated after the injury.

I do. He is in a really crappy situation.

On a side note: I hope ....hope...that Irsay doesn't pull a "leverage move" and lowball Luck because of an awful season. That would push Luck into free agency. You would have the BIll, Jets, Texans etc..offering huge money to get him.

Although technically I'm unconcerned, this makes them better. Haselbeck (or ...bach, whatever) is good enough to win that division and in the playoffs a 100% healthy Luck is scarier than the banged up version.

His old man and Archie Manning are chums. There's a possibility that Luck was a part of the charade that placed him in that crappy situation.

I doubt that Luck goes anywhere. He's in the best division he could be in and he knows it.

I seriously don't understand the hype for that kid. Even before he was injured he has played average (58% completions with 55 INTs in a little over 3 years). And he's played even worse in the playoffs (56% passing with 9TDs and 12 INTs).

Props to the poster who started the Dear Abigail series and thanks to those who've carried it forward.

With this injury any fine for not putting him on the injury report for the ribs fades away.....and the NFL rejoices since they never wanted to punish them to begin with.

To paraphrase a familiar saying, "Do not visit the sins of the owner and coach on the quarterback."

While I have strong negative feelings about Irsay and Pagano, I wish Luck nothing but good health and a speedy recovery. A lacerated kidney is serious business.

Colin Cowherd from January of this year...

“I think by next year, Andrew Luck is going to own the AFC for a decade,” Cowherd says. “This is the worst team Andrew Luck is ever going to be on. [The Colts are] building, they're building, they're building. Now they got pretty good corners. They have some pretty good tight ends and receivers. With one more draft and free agency, they solve their offensive line ... they're going to own this thing.

"[Peyton] Manning’s gonna go, Brady's gonna go, and [the Colts are] gonna own it.

"It's going to be Andrew Luck's AFC. In fact, if Andrew Luck beats Tom Brady this weekend, the torch has been passed, it's over."

Ummm... no.
the ability to write stuff like that must be why they pay him the big bucks
