Showtime 60 Minutes Sports: Criminal Law Professor Robert Blecker Attacks NFL on Deflategate

Hi Mike,

I suggest you watch a segment on Showtime's 60 Minutes Sports. Armen Keteyian interviews NY Law school Professor Robert Blecker on episode 9 (season 3). You can find it on Google.

Patriot fans are frustrated that people are letting this go--including Kraft and ESPN. I've forwarded this to Florio at PFT in the hopes that he takes it up again.

Goodell only responds to bad PR, which spurred him to alter his decision in the Ray Rice debacle. It can for this too, where fans can make a difference.

I've watched this video a couple of times and it is just mind blowing to me that it is being ignored everywhere in the media... heck, it's even being "ignored" here on the forums as I had to search back 4 pages to find it!

Every Pats fan needs to watch this NY legal professor skewer the NFL's creative process in the deflategate saga.

If only to hear an avowed NY football fan state flat out that the only one who cheated is this fiasco was the NFL.

It's like that everywhere. Negative news gets all the attention, if more people watch this it will change minds but what will really do it is the psi readings during games. People have to see it to believe it.

Many of us don't need to watch it.
Those of us cast off the main page by the usual whiners complaining to mods were in the Siberian Deflategate Forum and covered every one of these issues in far more detail, scientific, forensic & legal.
Too bad so many needlessly missed the information months ago.

Thanks for bumping this up. It really should be a sticky.

Guys like these are important because they come right and say it. "Tom Brady didn't do anything, because nothing was done." Even Sally Jenkins dances around it in her otherwise excellent article. When are reporters finally going to bite the bullet and say that that ONLY one who circumvented the rules and violated the integrity of the shield in "deflategate", was Roger Goodell.
