NFL Week 8 Previews, TV Info, Odds, Predictions and Picks ATS

John Morgan

Even though the Patriots are not playing, Sunday looks to be a very good day for watching the NFL. The early CBS game in Boston as well as most of the U.S. has Ben Roethlisberger returning to the field after being shelved for five weeks with a knee injury as the Steelers host the undefeated Bengals in a key AFC game. Most of the country will get the Giants at New Orleans in the early FOX game, and then Seattle at Dallas gets virtually universal distribution as the late game on FOX.

All that is just the preliminary for the Sunday night game, as Green Bay travels to Denver in a clash of undefeated teams. And if that is not enough football for you there is also a morning game from London, though I doubt a Lions-Chiefs contest will generate very many eyeballs outside of Michigan and Missouri.

Happy Birthday in memoriam to Brian Piccolo...

Will the London game be on regular stations this time and not just online?

Lions/Chiefs tomorrow from London at 9:30AM
aka
"The game with a couple of CBs that Pats fans want BB to trade for"
Good time for Bill to briefly put his GM hat back on.

Thanks bud. Visiting family in California so that'll be 6:30 AM for me... Might catch the second half of it.

I cannot believe Dallas has a second 100% national game this week. I get Cinci and Pitt which should be a decent game.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Amari Cooper matches up against Revis.

Just an fyi for you, they are pretty much national all season.

Week 1- SNF
Week 2- 100% National 4pm FOX Game
Week 3- Primary 1pm FOX Game (Only places not shown, Northeast, half of California, Carolinas, Louisana and a few markets in the mid-west)
Week 4- SNF
Week 5- Primary 4pm CBS Game (This was the game against NE. It was shown in 40 states)
Week 6- BYE
Week 7- 100% National 4pm FOX Game
Week 8- 100% National 4pm FOX Game
Week 9- SNF
Week 10 & 11 they are playing at 1PM so tough to tell right now if they will be the primary game or just regional. But Week 10 wouldn't surprise me if they are the primary as the other 1PM FOX games are meh. Week 11 they play Miami but GB/Min will probably be the primary. Although Romo is suppose to be back Week 11 so who knows they might make it primary.
Week 12- Thanksgiving Game
Week 13- Monday Night
Week 14- 100% National 4pm FOX Game
Week 15- Saturday Night Game
Week 16- 1pm game vs Buffalo
Week 17- If they are in a win and get in situation then they'll be the SNF game.

We want the Steelers to beat the Bengals since we effectively have a 4 game lead on them. It's in Pittsburg so I think they can do it.

Besides that I hope the Broncos/Packers game is an ugly mess with both QBs throwing picks but the Packers come out on top.

Besides that I don't really care.

Lock of the week, IMO.

GB over Denver is my lock. Peyton throws 2 picks. They'll call a timeout in the 3rd quarter to re-apply the duct tape holding his arm in it's socket.

Bucs @ falcons over 48
Giants @ NO. Saints -3
Jets @ Oak. raiders +3

Rashean Mathis inactive with an "illness"

@TerezPaylor: #Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt says he will stick with Andy Reid and John Dorsey for 2016, even if they end up with a top 5, top 10 pick.

Helps for a trade!

I'm watching chiefs vs lions game because I'm scouting sean smith.:p
