Where did Dion Lewis come from?

And from the "Coaching is complicated" department -- Wannstedt clearly has done a bunch of things right as a coach. He's also done a bunch of things wrong. That just goes to show how many different elements there are to coaching.

Wannstedt lives to find RBs he can run into the ground. Lewis was smart to get out of there after 2 years.

He needs a couple more years to be in this company.

By physically he has moves on moves

Faulk was a big contributor to 3 super bowl Championships and one of the most clutch players I have ever seen. I really like Lewis and I can see him being more of an everyday back than Faulk was but Faulk is a Patriot HOF caliber player imo.

Dion Lewis has a long ways to go to surpass Kevin Faulk.

I'm not sure what "everyday" means anymore. When healthy, Lewis had been averaging about 40 snaps a game. Faulk was around 25-30 as well. That's close to full time in my view.

I don't see them running Lewis 200 times a year. Hes best operating in space and getting him 10-15 touches a game. Less sometimes is more and they used Faulk the same way which worked out great.

Autocorrect. I meant every down back, whereas Faulk was more of a third down or situational back. I really like Lewis and if he ends up contributing the way Faulk did he will have been an incredible find.

Yea that's kinda where I was going with that. If you think about it, Pats haven't had an every down back since 2004.

Lewis is close to any and is on a pace for almost 1000 yds receiving.

wearing a linebacker like a kilt

I think you better trademark that saying like yesterday. I see T-shirts, bumper stickers, stenciled cabers for tossing, etc, etc...
