Patriots Harrassed by NFL/Jets Over Bugging/Electronics Suspicions - Conflicting Reports

To be honest, I believe that .Bowles doesnt seem to the guy who is into all this BS. Maybe one of the teams who played here before. Steelers ? this seems like the league doing it to find the pats on something . They will frame the pats on something in the end...watch.
The request didn't likely come from Bowles. Woody Johnson and/or Charlie Casserly are the most likely candidates.

As one source has explained it to PFT, the Patriots have become concerned that a team eventually will plant bugs on its own and claim that the Patriots put them there. This has prompted the Patriots to ask the league to certify before each game that the visiting locker room is clean before an opposing team enters. Per the source, the NFL has declined to do this.

As usual, all of the actual actions point to the Patriots being above board and the league doing everything possible to make them look bad.

I think league is just trying to flex its muscles making pats nervous or trying to keep poking and irritating the pats.
I want the ownership to come out now and take a stand with this ****. Tired of it. The point is that they didnt find anything but the headline is always going be that "pats visitor lockerroom was swept for bugs"

agreed getting old.

They definitely should do that. Why would the NFL refuse to check the visitor locker room before the opponents get there? There's no reason at all for not doing it other than because it would vindicate the Patriots

Who is to say the League would not do the framing. Hire nasty security company and go public with the concern and your plan to be sure to catch league or other team personell in any framing. I think it actually would up the mystique even more.

The Patriots should hire an independent company to check for bugs even if the NFL also checks

Does anyone want Mike Kensil snooping around a Gillette locker room 'checking for bugs'?
The Patriots should have the Massachusetts State Police secretly check the room for bugs before
each game. Then, all activity in and out of the room should be monitored. If a problem occurs, get
local law enforcement to impound the evidence.

Love the term. I'm stealing it.

This allegation goes a bit beyond videotaping someone standing in plain view of 70,000 people (which, for some reason, is illegal from a certain vantage point) or deflating footballs prior to a game (which never happened).

This is actually a federal offense. The Patriots have been accused of engaging in a federal offense. And the impotent commissioner just shrugs and says "integrity."

Mods, you can merge this with the other thread.

Wow, this is totally messed up. **** the NFL.

The NFL declined to certify the locker rooms are clean because they want to plant some bugs.

Doesn't mean Bowles did. Historically, the Jets have been disorganized, dysfunctional lying scum.
I never said he did. I previously said that it would have been someone else in the organization, not Bowles who by all accounts is a pretty decent guy and coach.

Can the NFL possibly get any more ridiculous?

Can we ask the nfl to check if other teams did indeed fulfill college academic requirements, because it seems to me they are all idiots.
