How many fans take for granted week after week with this team?

I for one...enjoy every.single.play. Because i know this won't last forever and it will end sooner or later. I never take a game...win...loss for granted with BB and TB at the wheel....you really can't IMO but i wonder how many people do and will look back in 10 years and go..man i wish i payed more attention or just watched how surgical Brady is more carefully. I am amazed every Sunday. It will suck when it's gone..but man am i loving it

We are witnessing something that may never be repeated again in professional sports. The nature of modern sports and a nit-picking media makes long-term team success nearly impossible to sustain for long.

What Brady and crew have done over the last year has been something special. I can't remember Brady looking this good and so confident. Can't imagine what they will look like when completely healthy.

For me it's been the ultimate in that I got to see the Pats win their first SB before I had kids and got to watch the last one with my 11 y/o daughter and 8 y/o fanatical pat fan son. It has been a great ride.

I had the pleasure of having season tickets through some really bad years including 1990 1-15. I remember what it feels like to be the laughing stock of the league. I feel incredibly fortunate to witness the past 15 amazing years.

Rah-Rah-RAH!

Yeah ... I appreciate the BB/TB era ....

When I was a boy we had some kid out of washington at QB, Blewson or something.

I liked Bledsoe and was devastated when a rookie kid replaced him after he got injured. That was short lived though.

Ben Coates and Bledsoe were dynamic at times. Coates is still one of my all time favorite TE's/Patriot.

This thread made me think back to the QB's I watched on the Patriots and how well they did. When I started watching the Patriots, Steve Grogan was the QB. Grogan made watching the Patriots fun and exciting and made me into a Patriots fan. The QB's between Eason and Bledsoe led to a lot of bleak years being a Patriots fan.

Steve Grogan 52.3% completion, 182 TD, 208 Int, QBR 69.6%
Tony Eason 58.4% completion, 62 TD, 87 Int, QBR 59.7%
Drew Bledsoe 56.3% completion, 166 TD, 138 Int, QBR 75.9%
Tom Brady 63.7% completion, 408 TD, 144 Int, QBR 96.5%

Those were/are the major ones. There were others but other then Flutie, Zolak and Cassel, I doubt but a few would recognize their names. Names like Cavanaugh, Owen, Ramsey, Bleier, Wilson, Hodson, Millen, Secules

i love every second of it. just like i did during the 80s with the celtics. im taking it all in.

Good post. I think of this often. I always tell myself before each game to enjoy it because I will never see anything like Brady and BB again. I'm going to miss this when it is over. We are so spoiled that some fans expect the pats to win every game and will complain when they don't beat a team by enough points! Winning is hard enough in the NFL. Bengals haven't won a playoff game in 25 years. Think of how many playoff games the pats have won in that time. We are lucky. I can't wait for tonight! Go pats!
