How we’re still even at this point knowing that fact defies logic, as Brady, as we know, never seems to request any rules to be broken throughout this entire investigation. Yet, here we are, months later, with this dragging on as Goodell continues his crusade to defeat the player who is running over opponents during New England’s first six games.

I was starting to worry that in the face of the mid-season grind, a very short week, multiple hurt players being out, arguably one of toughest games of the year, etc that TB might not be able to sustain his focused ANGER.

Ps, when are the last of these owners going to wake up and smell the coffee? If they don't fire this azz clown soon, he may end up with the nfl being run by a court-appointed commish and they lose literally EVERYTHING to the nflpa.

I thought this portion at the end of the column was worth repeating; the portion in italics are from the NFL's written appeal:

“Moreover, the Commissioner made an express finding that he would have reached the same conclusion whether or not the investigation was “independent” because the Wells Report provided a “thorough and reliable” account of the relevant facts.”

In other words, Goodell had already reached a conclusion; he just needed someone to find some facts to back it up.​

Let me see if I understand all of this, after a completely debunked investigation of deflated footballs the NFL tries to suspend Brady and in a preemptive move file in Federal Court to to make sure that happens, they then present their best case why this should held up and the Court rules against them so they want to appeal the decision of that Court to another Court..

I am not sure that their best argument is to say that the Court has limited power as they sought the power of the Court to keep the suspension intact.. but then what do I know..
