Kraft should open the Putnam Club for the game ...

They have done it for some Revolution games ... I've gone to a few with my teen son.

free entry but you spend a bunch on booze and food.
Sounds good, as long as I don't have to eat Kraft's cheese or the Mac n cheese stuff. Oops, did I blow my cover?

actually back the last time the Pats played the Cowboys in Dallas, IIRC, Kraft opened the Putnam Club (I think it was the Fidelity something then) and the Pats Alumni Club had a charity event. There was all kinds of food, drinks, and an auction. The game was on all the TV's including the big TV's in the stadium.

I would estimate that there were a at least a couple of thousand people were there. By all accounts it was a great success. I know I had a great time. But as far as I know, they never did anything like that again. I can only guess that it simply costs too much to open up even a small part of the stadium for events like that. But I think they could make it a destination site for a big time away games that was like $10 and well promoted. I bet they could get 10-15K. Attach it to a charity and the stadium could break even just from the food

All the threads about people getting together in Chicago and Manhattan got me to thinking. Why don't some fans who live in the area get together at some bar and watch the game. I know on those rare occasions that I have met people here I have been thoroughly entertained and informed. I don't know why we don't do it for at least every away game. I don't care if its 5 guys or 500 its sounds like a no brainer with a membership base as broad as this one is

Every time the people on ProFootball Weekly Radio plan a trip like they did for Dallas, they wind up with about 400 people and a great time. Just think about the charitable possibilities if you want to organize a bit further. Think about it. Who do Pats fans like to watch a game with better than fellow Pats fans.....and which Pats fans would we rather watch a game with than people we already know.....at least somewhat.

I have to think "someone" knows someone with a bar/restaurant. I have to think more than a few of you plan to watch the game in a bar regardless. I know I'd drive up to an hour for the pleasure of your company (I think ) Why can't some among our more organized bretheren put it together. It would be fun....especially for a game as meaningful as this one But if it's too late how about for the Denver game, or a Jet game

Let me know what you think.

Just post the date and I will be there. Maybe two or three away games over the rest of the season?
