Antonio Brown says Butler has the makings of a great player...

It will be interesting to see what Butler's role is this week. The Bills have two dynamic outside receivers in Harvin and Watkins, so do they match him up on one or just leave him on the left side and he takes whoever he gets?

Vontae Davis completely shut down Watkins last week.

I don't think Malcolm is his ballpark yet but as you say it's either him or Harvin.

Hopefully before the end of the season all this potential talk is done n over with and it's all action, potential can only go so far in the playoff's when it matters most, he needs to be elite status by then or we need to trade for a CB that can get it done

Watkins is hurt, he was basically a decoy when he was in.

So Davis deserves zero credit for limiting him to 1 target?

It's hard not to get to excited about Butler but playing corner in the NFL is about as hard as it gets. He's going to get burned at times but he is showing the traits really good CB'S tend. Great work by Belichick and the scouts in finding him and coaching him up.

I don't think I said that I just don't think Watkins was himself last week. David is a really good CB and played well.

OK no problem. You said he was a decoy so I took it that way. Moving on.

Davis is probably the 4th or 5th best CB in the NFL right now.
Sure is. He's behind only Revis, Peterson, Sherman and Haden.

They might double watkins and ask butler to take harvin.

Nice words, he could have been a d-bag about it, makes me respect Brown even more.
well..he's first words were:
"he was tight in some instances"

No player in the NFL benefits from the name on the back of his jersey more than Revis. I said this when he was here so it's not about him leaving. He is a very good CB, still one of the best in the NFL, but he is a fraction of what he was back in 2011.

I would put Desmond Trufant and Davis ahead of Peterson.

I think Brown is a good matchup against Harvin. Honestly they might just play sides because neither Watkins or Harvin are good enough to merit having a CB shadow them.

Dude, seriously, no. 2011 Revis was arguably the best corner in history of the game. Nobody is going to play near that level anytime soon, especially with these absurd rules. Revis is still an insanely, ridiculously good player. He is still one of the two best corners in the league.

I really appreciate the words from Antonio Brown. I want these words to have meaning...substance. If at the end of this season Antonio Brown is a Pro Bowler once again...then the props are warranted. If he is a punk...then it means nothing.

Sounds like the kinds of things BB says about opposing players, at all positions, every week.

Brown is a baller. Nothing but respect to him. One of the best in the game without being physically imposing at the wr spot
