I feel good and I liked what I saw yesterday, but I also caution that they played a team with a young defense that was not ready for prime time. The Steelers D was inept most of the night and they lost track of Gronk on three or so plays, and it was like WTF?! How do you not account for him. Sh*t if you account for only one NE weapon, it should be that guy! LOL
Look, Brady will be Brady so long as the O-Line does what they do and the pass catchers do the same. Pissed or not, he is going to put up numbers. It's still X's and O's at the end of the day, however, and the Patriots played a young, inexperienced team and outcoached a bobble head on the other sidelines. While I see we're obviously good and will be a force down the stretch (provided health), I do not believe it will be like last night every game just because Brady is pissed. He has always played with the proverbial chip and he has always had laser focus.
Tough test week 2. Rex's scheme gives Brady more trouble than not historically. Better D-Line and a more experienced and arguably talented D. The O-Line has some things to tighten up for sure. Dareus is especially tough. Williams has gotten to Brady a few. We'll see. IMHO, it's all about wins and losses. No MVP (though this season would be fitting), no 50 TD's (though this year would be fitting). Just SB wins (every year is fitting).
