OT: Justin Miller arrested

Justin Miller is a bonehead and probably could be labeled as a thug and I wouldnt argue against it, but lets not forget about your first round pick. Before the entire board runs to defend him, I am a huge Miami fan but dont tell how this guy is know a changed man and a sweetheart. Most teams have guys who disgrace themselves and the organizations, some more then others. Supposedly he went to punch a man and he ducked and he hit a woman. Stil does not justify anything. Thats my 2 cents.

Who cares? When Meriweather punches a woman in the face as a active member of the patriots you can compare the two. Brandon has not done a single thing wrong as a patriot. He was in a team wide brawl in college. He apologized for that and realized his big mistake. His entire team was brawling and he made a huge blunder getting caught up in it. Brandon was never arrested for anything. Brandon's situation is a lot different then a established NFL player smacking some girl in the teeth at a club, then getting arrested. This clown is a active jets player.

A pats player would never commit such a coward es crime. Punching a woman in the face? What a scumbag. The "accidental" explanation is spin this guy is using to make himself look like less of a low life. What is he doing brawling 1 foot away from a innocent women in a nightclub anyway? Looks like the jets have legit charector issues and not speculated ones.

I'm as big a Patriots fan as anyone and love my team, but I am not naive enough to say that this could never happen to a Patriot. A 53 man roster leaves a lot of room for incidents like this to occur. I will never condone what Miller did but I think we should lay off the Jets as things like this will be inevitable. Ty Law was known to find himself in sticky situations.

When did Ty Law bash a innocent woman in the face?

Miller is before the Tannenbaum and Mangini era. This is highly unlikely to happen again. Last year they had 10 draft picks and took 6 team captains and notable high character guy. Miller will probably will be gone before long. Like said before, you are delusional if you think something like this could not happen on your team.

how good is he as a CB? He was rated highly coming out and i know hes been inconsistent and iffy at CB.

He is maybe one of the most frustrating players on this team. He can run with almost any WR, he has although the tools. He lights people up at times. His problem are mental lapses. He will run with a WR and not make a play on the ball. He misses easy tackles at times going for big hits. He has the potential but its to be seen whether he will ever realize it. He makes too many stupid gambles. He's our nickel this year and possible dime.

thanks. next question. Why does Chad have the weakest arm of any starting QB? And how does Cotchery get some lucky plays against us

oh and do you think Revis can handle Moss or Stallworth week 1?

lolz, we will just have to wait and see. Its hard to project Revis now. I liked him a lot going into the draft but I think he will be able to hold his own week 1. This is also assuming stallworth is healthy week one, jk (just some friendly ribbing). Chad weak arm smart guy. Ive met him many times, he is a great guy, works hard first class citizen humble guy. I cant explain cotchery getting jacked up and scoring against the pats or the 77 yard catch and run in the playoffs, he's a tough WR with a lot of skills.

We know what kind of players the jets take. The head coach is a former patriot . Until something happens like this with a pats player you are merely speculating to hide the fact a jets player socked a innocent woman in the face. Who cares if Miller was not picked up in the Mangina era. They should have cut him when they took over. If I am not mistaken a knock against this loser was his charector.

Btw, its not really hard to take team captains when your team sucks and you get to pick at the top of the heap all the time. Jets fans need to worry about the real character issues they have on there team. Those issues are not speculated, just ask the guy who socked a innocent women in the face.

...he stomp on a man's head on the field...

No he didn't.

This is one of those myths that is never going to die and it's uncomfortable to dispute, even though it isn't true. "He didn't stomp on his head, it was his back!"--just doesn't feel right. Fact is, if you watch the video, it was incredibly pathetic stomping, and no where near a head. My 3-year old daughter stops on me with far more vigor than that. If our 1st round pick gets in a stomping contest, I'll take the other guy.

These jets clowns make me laugh. I love how they compare a young kid making a mistake , and kicking a rival player in the back during a team wide brawl, to an established NFl player getting drunk in a bar, punching a woman in the face, then leading the cops on a high speed chase THEN GETTING ARRESTED FOR IT.

I guess getting in a team wide fight in college where you where not charged with anything is the same as committing actual crimes while being in the NFL. Next jets fans will compare serial killers to shoplifters.

They are just made there team has actual "character issues" and they cannot have there speculation parade to make themselves less scared to face the pats.

The Jets should have got rid of him right? He did nothing wrong in the NFL it was all college issues. He was a model citizen up to this point. We picked in the top 5 2 years ago. We havent had a pick which was ours in the top 10 since 1996 so maybe you should know what your talking about when you say we always picked high. Unless if you comsider 13 high

First off your the clown because I did not in anyway try to defend or condone miller's actions. I simply added my two cents on how I see it as a jets fan. And I did not try to compare him and meriweather and went out of my way to say that. Maybe you should tone down the arrogance mr. pats fan as I only came in peace to talk about the issue. Did you miss the part where I called him a knuckle head an thought he should be cut? You guys would be idiots if you think mangini should have cut him last year when he was a second rounder in his 2nd year b/c incidents he had in college and none in the pro's.
