Wendell is inactive.

I thought folks might see discussions on the game thread. I read five pages and football was mentioned once, so I posted this here.

MODS
Please don't merge this and make folks scroll through 10 or 20 pages of game thread to find the inactives.

Wendell inactive is a slight surprise. I assumed (obviously incorrectly) that he would be starting at center.

That means UDFA David Andrews is the starting center. It's not rocket science to figure that Pittsburgh will load up and test him early and often.

Here is the full list of the Pats' inactives:
C/G Ryan Wendell
DL Trey Flowers
RB Travaris Cadet
S Tavon Wilson
DL Khyri Thornton
LB Rufus Johnson
CB Justin Coleman

Here are the Pittsburgh Steelers' inactives:
QB Landry Jones
WR Sammie Coates
CB Ross ****rell
OL Chris Hubbard
TE Jesse James
DE Letterius Walton
DE Caushaud Lyons

If the Pats move the ball on ground and/or protect Brady, then there is going to have to be a special place in heaven for Googs, to be able to get 3 rookies ready to play a good DL.....and not just any 3 rookies 2 fourth rounders and an UDFA. No elite rookies that one would think would be ready to come in and start, yet.....they will be.
